Alexis Landrum, Everleigh Grace's mother, is the founder of Justice 4 Everleigh Grace. Her personal journey has not only led to the creation of this advocacy platform but has also connected her with a multi-county operation dedicated to systemic change justice and exposing the corruption and confusion surrounding court processes in both family law and criminal law. Her experiences are the foundation of our work, driving our commitment to child safety, foster care accountability, criminal justice reform, and constitutional protections for everyone.
A journey of dedication and learning
Alexis's dedication to child safety and accountability is rooted in a profound commitment to continuous learning and personal growth. Her experiences include DEOP classes, Lakes Behavior IOP recovery and therapy, and Christ-based parenting classes. She has also participated in multiple parenting courses from Edovo and the Cornbread Hustle program offered by Collin County. Alexis completed the 12-week Cornbread Hustle program after her release from incarceration, finding it instrumental in reinforcing her values. Furthermore, she has engaged in cognitive courses, psychological, psychiatric, and mental health evaluations, diligently following all recommended treatment plans to stay on the right path. This comprehensive approach underscores her resilience and unwavering focus on healing and positive change.
Significant achievements and challenges
Alexis's impactful work includes the launch of the "No citizen should lose their liberty without jurisdiction" petition on Change.org. This initiative highlights critical issues within the legal system, particularly focusing on unjust detentions and lack of due process. She has also faced and continues to challenge the alarming escalation of an unlawful arrest and forced surrender, even after being released from jail and probation. Alexis has been subjected to double jeopardy and an unlawful arrest by a judge lacking jurisdiction. These actions were dismissed as administrative and clerical errors, despite a refusal to comply with black letter law. This judge, ethically challenged and biased against Alexis, has pre-planned her sentencing without review, denied her legal representation and bond, and sought a 20-year sentence on a discharged case. These experiences underscore her unwavering fight against systemic injustices.
